A queer comedy sci-fi animated series, STARSHIP Q STAR follows ex girlfriends SIM and AURELIA as they attempt to Co-Captain their crew through the universe in search of a new home. Meegan created STARSHIP Q STAR alongside her Co-Captain in life, wife and fellow screenwriter, Lauren Anderson. They endeavoured to create a show that asked, what would happen if STAR TREK and THE L WORD had a weird, hilarious baby?

The show is based on their hit podcast of the same name, and was produced through their company So Nice Productions as part of the ABC & Screen Australia’s Fresh Blood program.
